Murrells Inlet
Arthur L. Krupp age 70 died on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Arthur was a son of the late Laurence and Edith Krupp. Arthur was a High School math teacher who also coached soccer, basketball and softball. He taught at Socastee High School for seven years. Arthur was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Margaret Krupp of Murrells Inlet; daughters Kathryn Kudelka and her husband Daniel of South Amboy, NJ, Deanna Bruckler and her husband Jeffrey of Port Republic, NJ; a son David Krewso of Myrtle Beach; six grandchildren Ryan, Beth, Sean, Robbie, Jake and Dani.
A funeral mass will take place 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father Ray Carlo officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, S-2700, New York, NY 10006.

I am so sorry to hear of Artie's passing. He was a great friend and a great person to work with. He really created an atmosphere of fun wherever he was...in the classroom, teacher's room, gym or field. Rest in peace my friend.

I am so very sorry to hear that Artie is gone. I taught with him at SHS and he was a powerhouse amongst the faculty and the students alike. He ignited a love of math for students who had never shown an interest in anything. Such a nice guy and such a great loss.

Mr. Krupp was one of the best teachers at Dayton H.S. (Class of '92) I have fond memories of him as my Calculus teacher and softball coach, and all those Saturday practices. He believed in us and inspired us as student-athletes.

My heartfelt feelings to your entire family. I was a student of Mr. Krupp back in the early 80s. He was a dear mentor at a fragile time for me when my mother died. My condolences go to Mr. Krupp's family. He was an instrumental person in so many people's lives, as a teacher and a coach. He is honestly one of the few teachers I remember very vividly (like I can picture him explaining a derivative in Calculus 33 years ago) and that's because he was a great teacher and a great person. He obviously had a big heart.

Coach Krupp's legacy will live on forever! I think I spent more time with him than with my own family through my four years at Dayton and there wasn't a better guy/coach/mentor/friend/teacher. He was my soccer and basketball coach and (God Help Us) the MOST PATIENT Calculus teacher in the world!! As my son leaves this week to begin his soccer career at college, my own soccer memories will ALWAYS come back to Krupp! He was always fondly remembered!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr.Krupps family. He was my soccer and basketball coach at Dayton. He had a great sense of humor, we laughed a lot. He contributed, in a huge way, to my development as a young athlete and I respected him immensely for that. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so saddened to hear about Mr. Krupp's passing. Some of my best memories of my high school days are because of Mr. Krupp. He coached me in 11 seasons in high school. I played soccer, basketball, and softball for him. He always had the best personality and was always cracking jokes. He was a very special man and I feel so blessed to have spent my high school years with him! I will miss him greatly! xo
