Don Raven Obituary

Donald "Don" Raven, age 47, of Prestbury Drive, died December 29, 2010.
Mr. Raven was born in Amarillo, Texas, a son of the late James Leroy and Reba Mae Phelps Raven. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Dumas.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Raven of Conway; one son, Drew Raven of Pa.; one daughter, Kareese Raven of S.C.; one step-son, Robert "Bert" Lewis, Jr. of Md.; one step-daughter, Jennifer Peebler of Ariz.; three sisters, Phyllis Tebo of Amarillo, Texas, Jenny Hughes of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Elizabeth Miller of Decatur, Texas; three brothers, James Dopheid of Converse, Texas, Corby Raven of Amarillo, Texas, and Bradford Raven of Harker Heights, Texas; one half brother, Johnny Raven; two half sisters, Barbara Raven and Dorothy Raven, all of Oklahoma; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Don's professional career included mortgage banking and various real estate sales and marketing positions. Early in his career he was in food distribution services and management. Most recently he was owner of Raven Virtual Productions, servicing the residential and commercial real estate industry.
His interests included snow skiing, dancing, golfing, photography, traveling, web site designing and video productions.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., prior to the service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
