Mr. Frank Vollotton "Buddy" Boulineau, IV, age 42, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital following a sudden illness. Born on November 26, 1973 in Myrtle Beach, SC, he was the son of Frank V. Boulineau, III and Elizabeth Witherspoon Boulineau. Mr. Boulineau worked in the food service division of Boulineau's IGA Grocery Store and was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach.
Survivors, including his parents of North Myrtle Beach, are his wife, Dawn Tassi Boulineau of Little River, SC; two sons, Frank V. Boulineau, V of Little River, SC and Jack Edwards Peters of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Mixon and husband, Rev. Charles "Cliff" Mixon of Conway, SC; niece, Madison Elizabeth Mixon; nephew, Jackson Charles Mixon, both of Conway, SC and uncle, Jack B. Witherspoon and wife, Linda of North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach with Pastor Dr. Wayne Brown and Rev. Cliff Mixon officiating. Committal services will follow at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hardwick Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach Building Fund, 200 Hwy. 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 or to Sea Haven, PO Box 600, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29597. I think of Buddy often! Every now and then when I think of Buddy, a saddened pang hits my heart when I remember. Nothing can ever be said to lighten the deep sadness. The Boulineaus' will always hold a place in my heart, and Buddy holds a special place as I viewed him almost as a son. I am thinking of you all the time. Frank raised the frequency in every room he entered. He made me laugh, giggle, and hold my hand over my mouth in the good kind of way, which is one of the best gifts I could ever receive. To quote Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, they will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." He made me feel awesome and gave me laughter, which is so precious. He is a remarkable soul and I want to remember and preserve that forever. Our entire family is very saddened to hear of the loss of someone I can truthfully say was always warm, kind and an open soul whom we spent many times talking at Jack's Grill. So many good times, so many memories. Buddy lit up a room. So handsome and kind. So full of life and spunk. I could never get mad at Buddy, or be sad or mad around him. He was always the class clown. He made friendships and lasting impressions on anyone who had the privilege to meet him. So genuine, so sincere.
