Jack Frost Obituary

LITTLE RIVER | Jack Ulysses Barney Frost IV, founder of Shiloh Place Ministries, pastor, author, teacher and accomplished sea captain, went home to be with Father God, Monday, March 5, 2007, after a heroic battle with cancer.

Jack became known as Top Hook in the Southeast United States. He accredits this accomplishment to Captain Al Kline who taught him the way of the sea and became a father figure who imparted to him confidence, self-worth and belief that it is possible to overcome any adversity found at sea or in life.

Jack's books, Experiencing the Fathers Embrace and Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship, have touched and healed the hearts of millions of people throughout the nations.

Through his incredible gift of leadership, he has raised up thousands of leaders and ministers who carry this message transforming our world with a restored picture of the Father heart of God.

He is survived by his wife, Trisha G. Frost of Little River; his children, Micah and Majesta Frost of Myrtle Beach, Doug and Sarah Crew of Redding, Calif., Joshua Frost of Redding, Calif.; grandchildren, Journey and Judah Frost of Myrtle Beach; a brother and sister-in-law, Sherman and Susan Frost of Columbia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Cape and Brenda Grice of Wilson, N.C.; spiritual son, Mark Burlinson and his wife, Jane; brother-in-law, Jimmy and wife, Martha Ann, Grice of N.C.; a sister-in-law, Mary Secrist and husband, Zeke, of Wilmington, N.C.

Dear Family,

I was given a CD with a teaching of Father Heart preached by Jack Frost.
I am so sorry for your loss. I love how God restored your family, and I have been going through restoration for the past four years. I bawled most of the time listening to the teachings and the pure honesty and brilliance of Jack's personality as he recounted his journey.
The words and testimony still have God's power in it today.
Jack may be gone from this side but his testimony lives on.

Thank You for sharing your husband and father and grandfather with us.

What can I say? I went to the website tonight for an update and saw the word obituary and knew he was gone.
Ginny and I have been weeping and finally praying.
Jack took me places no one else ever had. Twice, sovereignly, a year apart, he chose me from a room full of people and held me and prophetically spoke things into me as I sobbed into his chest. I will never be the same. The Father confirmed his deep love and committment to me through Jack's faithfulness.
I ache with his loss and cannot imagine your own. Know that I hold you before the Father, trusting he can and will hold you speaking tender comfort and abiding presence.

Dear Frost Family and Shiloh Place Minsitries: We are heartbroken for you at the loss of Jack. He was so honest in his testimony about his struggles, and victories. He was the "real deal"....and allowed me to have the courage to confront my own "real life" beneath the masks I have worn in my life. Thank you for the wisdom you have imparted through your ministry through your articles, tapes, and seminars. We know God is near to the broken-hearted, and I know He is near you today.

Trish & Family
Jack made such an impact on my life and the life of my very best friend Gary. We will never be the same due to the Lord's transformation of Jack and his allowing the Lord to use him to minister to others. What a celebration in heaven for one who was so transformed into the image of his Creator. His ministry lives on. You are in my prayers, for I know there is a void in your lives with Jack being taken home.

YOU ALL ARE MY ADOPTED FAMILY AND I COULD NEVER EXPRESS HOW MUCH YOU ALL AND MR JACK MEAN TO ME. I DID NOT HAVE A VOID IN MY LIFE DUE TO THE GIVING OF YOUR HEARTS, AND NOW MY CHILDREN WILL REAP ALL THAT HE AND YOU ALL HAVE SOWEN. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THAT DAY THAT I CAN SAY THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE UNSEEN THAT HE HAS DONE.I LOVE YOU ALL, MY HEART AND PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU
