Carolina Shores , North Carolina - Jacquelin Orwig, age 87, of Carolina Shores, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Curtis Orwig with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Annville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ellis C. Hoke and Mary Anne (Smith) Hoke. Jackie graduated from Scott Township High School and attended Lebanon Valley College. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank in an administrative role. She was on the Local Borough Council in Richland, PA and on the Carolina Shores POA Board. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, a dedicated member of her local card group and an avid reader. She was a talented crafter who loved crocheting, needlepoint & painting. She loved and was dedicated to her family.
Jackie is survived, in addition to her husband, by her children, Barry L. Albright, Jr. (Maureen), Stephen C. Albright, Curtis H. Orwig, III (Ilene), Carter E. Orwig, Jacquelin Nichols (Corey) and preceded in death by her son, Richard C. Albright. In addition, she is survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Suzanne Nagle and Cinde L. Hannah (Owen), and preceded in death by her brother Richard E. Hoke.
