Conway..... Jesse James Glasgow, III, age 48, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Mr. Glasgow was born in Ft. Sill, OK, a son of the late Jesse James Glasgow, Jr. and the late Gaye Chryst Glasgow. Jesse received his B.A. from USC Coastal Carolina College and his M.B.A. from Winthrop University. He was a long-time employee of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of South Carolina.
Surviving are: his wife, Madlyn Sargent Glasgow of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Jesse James "Jess" Glasgow, IV and Brent Hudson Glasgow, both of Conway; a sister, Ruth Anne Glasgow-Seavey (David) of Gainesville, GA; a niece, Maggie Seavey of Columbia; and a nephew, David Seavey of Gainesville, GA.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lindsey Inman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00PM until 4:00PM Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association, 7499 Parklane Road, Suite 144, Columbia, SC 29223, or to the American Cancer Society, 950 48th Avenue N., Suite 101, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
