Jennifer, You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard the tragic news. I have no idea what I can say to you to comfort you that has not already been said.
Just know that you had the honor of sharing your life with a very special man, if only for a short time, to short. We meet alot of people along our walk of life but only a few who will leave a lasting impression like Johnny has in ours. He will be missed . But I'm going to remeber this remarkable young man as " the church bouncer". A job that he was very proud of. We love you and were praying that you find the strenght to get through this.

I can't begin to understand the pain and sorrow you are going through. It seems that God was ready for several people in our community this Christmas. Enjoy the memories and look forward to your reunion one day. Make sure Hannah and Spencer know what a wonderful dad they had.God bless and comfort you.

Jennifer and family,
David & I was sadden to hear about Johnny's death, but we do know that through God's love and strenght, that you will go on. I can't say that it's easy, but just remember Romans 8:28 " I CAN do all things through Christ which give me STRENGHT" and He will. I imagine him and Spencer right now waiting at the gates for the time when we all can be together once again. Please call me if you need to talk with someone and just take each second and get through it, nobody can take the pain away, but we know that through the prayers of others that they truly do care for you and will be there for you if you need them. We love you and will continue to pray for you as you have done for us.

FROM THE FAMILY OF TRAVIS PARKER

December 19, 2008

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

During a time like this, it's hard to find the words to say. Nothing can really make things "better," but your family WILL be in our thoughts and prayers. Remember, God says "Cast all your cares on Me" (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on him, trust in him, and he will see you through this terrible time. Johnny is still here with you, in your hearts forever. He'll be watching over you, until the day you can meet again.
With loving thoughts,

At a time like this words just seem to disappear. Our carnal nature wants to ask the question(s), "Why?". We will never know why, nor will we ever know or understand God's purpose and plan through a tragedy such as this. This I know..., God will give you and your family surmountable strength, peace, and comfort as only He truly knows how to give. You're in my prayers.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for for loss at this time and in days to come. Please allow this following scripture to be great comfort for you.1 Corinthians 15:51-58.See,I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed,in a moment,in the twinkling of an eye,at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruptible, and this mortal to put on immortality. and when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written,"Death is swallowed up in overcoming."" O death where is your sting? O grave where is your overcoming?"And the sting of death is sin, and the power of the sin is the Torah. But thanks to Elohim who gives us the overcoming through out Master Yahushuah Messiah. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast.immovable, always excelling in the work of the Master, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Master.
