Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - Joseph Quince Britt, 58, passed January 29, 2021. He was born November 29, 1958 in Mullins, SC a son of the late Pearly Ervin Britt and Bobbie Lee Sawyer Britt
Fondly known as Joe by friends and Joey by family, Mr. Britt worked in the car industry for more than thirty years. Owner of Britt Cars, Mr. Britt enjoyed helping other and forming friendships along the way. Fond of spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, and dancing, NASCAR racing, Mr. Britt lived a life of love, happiness, and laughter.
Surviving Mr. Britt: his spouse Mari Beth Scofield Britt; his children: Joseph Ryan (Kelly) Britt of Cincinnati, OH and Lucas Quince (Betsi) Britt of Myrtle Beach; his siblings: Michael Ervin (Vicki) Britt of Mullins, Anne Britt (Jimmy) Rogers of Mullins, and Fritz Harold (Lynn) Britt of Mullins; and his beloved pet Benny.
A private (invitation only) memorial service will be 4:30 PM Wednesday February 3, 2021 with Rev. Ronny Byrd officiating. The service will be able to be seen via McMillan-Small's Facebook Page through the funeral home's website.
The family requests that that memorials be made to The Doug Shaw Memorial Scholarship Fund PO Box 7506, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572 in Joe's memory.

I worked for Joe at Scott Cars for a few years. Sorry to learn of his passing.
he´s part of my funniest story- I was a shiny new 20 something trying to learn car sales. Our office was next to Service and often someone in for repairs would stumble into the showroom. One day this poor man who didn´t want to talk ended up in front of my desk.. Joe nods to me to go chat with him and I do.. maybe 15 seconds later the customer tried to flee, but the window cleaners had been there that day and this customer tried to exit through the closed showroom door and smashes his greasy face and glasses into the door.. Joe about fell out of his chair laughing and the other salesman all joined in while this mortified man tried to get back to his formica waiting room.
