June Crook Obituary
Born May 26, 1944 in Attleboro, Mass., she was a daughter of the late George A. and Florence Stafford Johnson. She was predeceased by a brother, William Johnson.
June came to Murrells Inlet from Rocky Point, N.C. in 2001. June worked for her son at Best Pools & Spa's, Inc. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. June enjoyed her family, life, reading, the outdoors and playing with her friend, Max.
Survivors include her loving husband and best friend, John Joseph Crook Jr.; a son, Seann Kelly Scanlon of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, George Johnson and John Johnson, both of Mass.; three sisters, Carol Campbell and her husband, Richard, of Ga., Audrey Codi and her husband, James, of Mass., Barbara Howard of Fla.; and two grandchildren, Cody Jane Scanlon and Zacary Scanlon, both of Myrtle Beach; favorite brother-in-law, Kevin M. Crook of Cicero, N.Y.; and stepson David Scott Crook of West Palm Beach, Fla.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
