I just learned that dear, sweet Kay has joined her Lord in heaven. Kay was one of the most loving persons I have ever met. Although we had lost touch of late, she was often on my heart. May Kay's family continue to be comforted by the love of Jesus.

To the family of Kay I want to extend my condolences and hope that we all find some comfort during these difficult times. I have been working with Kay at Rockwell for over 10 years and she became such a great friend and I always looked forward to talking to her. Kay touched me and she will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss those great lunches she always provided and most of all the donuts in her office. I hope that she continues to touch our lives and she can continue as one of the Lords angels to guide us and protect those she loves and loved. I will miss her. On behalf of my team and the command please accept our sincerest respect and admiration for this beautiful lady. God Bless..

Kay was such a dear sister in the Lord and a wonderful friend. Kay was deeply loved by our family and she made her love known to us in many beautiful ways. Our youngest daughter Rachel and Kay had a special bond. Kay's consistent encouragement and support always provided strength to Rachel and made her feel especially valued. We will miss our times of fellowship, meals, laughter and smiles. We pray the Lord God will comfort each of your hearts as you journey forward toward the lovely place where Kay now rests, in the presence of Jesus our Lord.

These were the ministries in which she served. Kay loved to pray, to teach, and to minister to the children. The children always looked to, Ms. Kay to bring them "little treats" along with the Word of God. Kay was often called upon to minister to the ladies of our church during Key Program Events; encouraging and praying for the Women. She would often share "Her Testimony to build the faith of others. Even when, Ms. Kay, was in the hospital, she would often be found praying for others on the telephone. Kay was a giving and generous Woman of God, who was also a "Servant" of warm hospitality. She would often make Gift Baskets for various events to bless others. Kay was indeed a Gift to our church and the Body of Christ! We give "Honor to her and the life she lived. Our Sister, Kay, will be "dearly" missed by all, and her works will follow after her. Ms. Katherine Kay Kelley was truly a Proverb's 31 Woman! We at TheCurrent, rise up and call her Blessed.

Sweet Kay was the epitome of love, always sharing, always giving; she was welcoming, including, praying, remembering, forgiving, and selfless. She had the prettiest smile, the softest skin, the greatest heart.
It seems impossible that we'll never exchange phone calls, texts, or hugs again here on earth.
We prayed for her total healing and restoration; and our prayers were indeed answered
The tears I shed are for those of us who feeling our loss so deeply.
I grieve; I weep; I rejoice
Lonnie and family, Ina and Howie, I pray comfort and peace for you all knowing that Kay is whole and singing "hosanna!"

What a true blessing to have known an angel in flesh, Mama Kay. She loved to be called Mama Kay and always broadened her ever-present smile when she heard that. We will always remember her as a woman of unwavering faith, great strength, and a beautiful smile. Sarah said recently that she pictured Kay laughing and giggling that Heaven was better than she ever imagined it was...what a great, appropriate picture of her!
