I had the pleasure of being trained by Kyle while at the academy also. He also road with me during Memorial Day Weekend about 10 years ago in Myrtle Beach. I remember Kyle to be very funny and full of knowledge. We will miss you Kyle.

Didn't know him personally but I knew of his work as a member of Hermitage Baptist Church. My Sister, Jeanette Elliott was very fond of him and spoke of him often. He will be missed.

The day when I first time I met Kyle, I was a teenager growing up in Forest Acers. Kyle was a big stature of a man, and when he came up to me and introduced himself in his “official capacity” the first thing I thought was… How do I explain to my Dad that I was speeding down Forest Drive at ten minutes before midnight on a school night...But Kyle being the kind hearted person that he was, just ask me to slow it down, and keep it below the sound barrier. Kyle and several others at Forest Acers introduced me to Law Enforcement and offered me advice during my early years. Thank you Kyle for the values you instilled in me. My prayers go out to the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Kyles passing. When we were both teaching at the Academy I had the opportuinty to share an office with Kyle. I could not have asked for a better office mate. Anytime I see anything about Texas still today, Kyle always comes to mind. I am so sorry for your loss.

Kyle will be very much missed. He kept me in line when he was at Forest Acres PD prior to me joining the AF in 1986. Just saw him last year at a USC game. We had many fun times and he was always very funny. We were very sad to hear about his passing yesterday. Our prayers go out to his family and friends…

Kyle was a good man and a dear old friend who will be missed. Bryan worked with him at the Police Academy in the 90's and he was one of my instructors when I went through the Police Academy(94) before going to work for Newberry County. We were sad to hear of his passing. He always spoke so proudly of his son Alan. He always had a smile on his face and kindness in his heart...may that continue on his new journey.
