Pat:
You above all know the respect that Bob and I have had for each other over the last 31 years.
We have gone through much together and still found ways to work together for the common good of our loved ones.
I shall miss him. That is the truth! George remembers Gradpa Bob taking him fishing, playing miniature golf and reading to him in a chair here at the beach house, and coming to Charlotte for his 4th birthday. Good memories for a grandson to have. George said tonight that Grandpa Bob is in his heart.
We care for you and what you are going through.
Most assuredly in our prayers,
Bill and Jeanette

Dear Pat--
Bob had a most attractive trait--that is --he intuitively knew what really interested his many friends. He sent me some of the best articles on jazz I have ever read.
The gang at the Surf Club will miss his quick wit and really long drives-me in particular.
