Winston Perry Obituary

Winston Allen Perry, 73, died Wednesday at his home following an illness.
Mr. Perry was born October 6, 1936 in Hemingway, a son of the late Grady and Meddie Altman Perry. He was owner and operator of Perry's Bait & Tackle Shop in Murrells Inlet.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Bourne Perry of the home; 4 sons, Stephen Perry of Conway, Kevin Perry, Eric Perry and Matthew Perry all of Murrells Inlet; 3 daughters, Jennifer Perry Turner of Eagleville, TN, Charlotte Perry Hardy of Birmingham, AL and Joyce Freeze of Charleston, SC; 6 grandchildren. Mr. Perry was predeceased by a daughter Marcia Hope Perry.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 3 to 5 PM, at the home of Jennifer Perry Turner, 4002 Murrells Inlet Road, Murrells Inlet, SC. Memorial services will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Francis Humane Society, 125 Ridge St. Georgetown SC 29440.

We will forever miss Mr. Perry at the Inlet. I first met Winston back in the 60's when he was located at Cedar Hill Landing. He was an institution in Murrells Inlet.
