Gail Grady Obituary

Gail Ann Grady
Born: January 16, 1961 in Ottawa, IL
Died: January 28, 2025 in Mendota, IL
Gail Ann Grady, 64, of Mendota, formerly of Naplate passed away peacefully in her home, lovingly surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday January 28th. Cremation rites have been accorded. Wasmer Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family.
Gail had a bright, and inviting personality that rubbed off on everyone she met, no matter where she went, she always left with new friends, and new memories. She was truly the life of every party.
Gail loved those around her deeply, she took in people and animals alike, strays of all kinds were always welcome in her home. She had the biggest, most giving heart, always putting others, before herself.
More than anything else she cherished time spent with her family, watching sunsets and having a beer, while sitting in her driveway. The simple joys of life meant the most to her.
Gail held many titles to those who loved her throughout her life, daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, friend, and many more. The title she was most proud of was Grammie. To her, being a Grammie to her two grandsons was her greatest and most cherished accomplishment.
Gail is survived by her loving, and devoted husband Jerry Webb, her son and daughter-in-law Logan and Kilee Gilsdorf; her two grandsons Wayne and William Gilsdorf; her stepson Jack (Tammy) Webb; her brother Robert (Paula) Grady; her sister Sherry (Ed) Mitchell-Alvarado; her nieces Krista (Art) Grady; Brittany (Andrew) Piano; and Balie Grady; her nephews Grady (Christine) Mitchell; and Robert (Rebecca) Grady; and many great nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her many friends that became family to her.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marge (Blazik) Grady, and her great nephew Kameryn Kundert.
Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue, IVAR. Condolences may be left at wasmerfuneralhome.com.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date, as this time her loved ones graciously request time to grieve privately.
