Died: August 30, 2022 in Ottawa, IL
Casey Reh, 63, of Ottawa, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Casey was born on August 23, 1959 in Kingman, KS to Richard E. Reh and Marilyn M. Reh (Schrag). He married Carole Bird on June 18, 1993. Casey worked for many years at local automobile dealerships as an automotive technician. In 2001 he opened Casey Reh Automotive, where he devoted his skills to his loyal customers. Casey enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, working on cars, and spending time with his wife and best friend, Carole.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; a sister Melody (Steven) Moss of Avon Park, FL; his stepmother, Magda Reh of Houston, TX; half-brother, Ricky Reh of Snowmass, CO; half-sister, Michele (Jeff) Deloof of Orlando, FL; stepbrother, Pedro Suniaga of Austin, TX; Aunt, Pamela Wellever of Mulvane, KS; and nieces and nephews, Karla, Michael, Brenton, Hank, Rachel, Eva, and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Merrilee Socia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grand Ridge Fire Department.
