Died: August 24, 2021 in Morris, IL
Steve Rexroat, 71, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Morris Hospital.
Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service.
He was born November 20, 1949, in Ottawa, to William and Doris (Pitts) Rexroat. In 1970, he married Janet Brockman of Seneca who survives.
Steve was a Pipefitter out of local 81, 422 and 597 for 53 years until he retired in 2010. He was an avid Harley rider. He enjoyed antiquing and taking trips to the casino with his wife and sisters.
He is survived by his wife Janet; his three children, Cyndi (Scott) Seibert of Seneca, Susie (Chuck) Weygand of Ottawa, and Jay Bird (Sara) Rexroat of Seneca; his grandchildren, Erika, Jake, and Josh Seibert, Chaz Weygand, Joseph, William, James and Lillian Rexroat, and Thomas, Michael and Robert Caron; four great-grandchildren, Braxton and Paxton Weygand, and Oliver and Tucker Caron; his beloved great-grand dog, Cash; his siblings, Carol Collins, Glenna (Steve) Bloomfield, Deb (Mike) Harmon, Sandy VanDeWarker, Dave Rexroat and Brian Rexroat.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law, Jr. and Ede Brockman; his brother-in-law, Bruce Brockman, Bob Collins and Dave VanDeWarker.
