Life Reflections
Mr. Aaron Bacon, Jr. was born on January 10, 1963, in
Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Aaron and Algie Lucille Bacon Sr. Aaron is preceded in death by his mother, father, and little brother, Darron Anthony Bacon, Sr. Aaron received his formal education in the Dallas school system, graduating from Transportation Magnet, Class of 1981. After graduating from high school, he worked in construction, the Kool Aid factory, and then as a driver, which would become his career for 23 years. Aaron then pivoted and became a security guard with AAFES where he worked until September 2002. Aaron grew up in church and accepted God as his personal savior as a young man. He served the church by singing and driving the church bus. Aaron met his life partner LaRhonda Young in 1993, they married on December 2, 1995, and they were together until the Lord called him home on March 1, 2025. Aaron and LaRhonda worked together creating a strong family unit full of love with all their children.
Aaron will forever be remembered as a brother, son, father, husband, uncle, friend, protector, provider, and comedian. His father would speak of his athletic ability in football, and how it was used to keep him studying his books. He was a quiet spirit that moved at his own pace. When Aaron was not working, he loved being on a lake with his fishing rods and his blues. Aaron always presented a hard exterior but had a heart of gold. He wanted the best for everyone around him. Aaron loved his family, and his family will forever love him. He will be forever remembered for his quick wit, his smile, BBQ skills, true and unquestionable friendship, willingness to help others, his one dance move, his stories and huge imagination, wisdom, and love. But please do not make the mistake in taking his niceness for granted; then you had to deal with that other Aaron (the one that did not always use proper language (wink)).
His children will forever remember the life lessons that he taught and shown them. Aaron was a hardworking man that provided for his family. Even as his health failed, he continued to find ways to still provide. He was just an old school man, that wanted his children and family to have the best life that he could offer. When he was happy, he would give you a smile that lit up the entire room; but when he was not, you would hear every word. Aaron lived His life! No matter what doctors or anyone else said, he was going to control how he was going to live His life. No matter the health challenges, he continued to be a protector and provider for his family. He wanted his children to know that they could always depend on him, and that he would be there.
Aaron leaves cherished memories with his wife LaRhonda. His sons: Antwone (Tamina) Davis, Myron (LaQuasha) Kilgore, and Aaron Bacon III. His daughters: Chearonne (Mahiri) Allen, and Qu'taronne (Darnell) Reid-Hill.
