Aaron entered eternal rest on October 31, 2025, at home surrounded by the love of his family. Aaron was born August 12, 1948, in New Orleans, LA. He was born to Aaron Broil, Sr. and Louise Broil LaFrance. He was the eldest of five children. Aaron was educated in the New Orleans Public School system and was a 1966 George Washington Carver High School graduate. He attended Southern University at New Orleans. His studies were interrupted when he was drafted into the United States Army where he received an honorary discharge. After leaving the military, Aaron continued his education and received his HVAC – EPA Certification. He became employed at the Marriot Renaissance Hotel, Brown Velvet Dairy, and Housing Authority of New Orleans. Aaron grew up practicing the Catholic faith. After visiting Carver Desire several times with now wife, Ella Mae Broil, he became a waiting candidate for baptism. He was baptized by Rev. James R. Willis, Jr. Shortly after that, Aaron and Ella were united in holy matrimony by Rev. James R. Willis Jr. He not only became a husband, Aaron became a stepdad to Corey and Tanisha, and a step-granddad to Corey, Jr., Paris, and Courtenae'. Aaron was a great husband, stepdad, and step-granddad. Corey, Tanisha and the grand kids were blessed to have him in their lives. They expressed how much he meant to them by providing him with excellent care. They assisted Ella with taking care of his every need. They did whatever was needed to keep him comfortable. Aaron was proceeded in death by his parents, and his brother, Louis Brown. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, his bothers Clarence Brown, Jr. (Dondra), Charlie LaFrance (Richelle), his sister, Mary Raymond (Jerome) His daughters, Shanda Marie Minor, Karen Toliver, and Kandyce Broil-McMillen (Eugene), six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend the Homegoing Service on Friday, November 14, 2025, for 11:00 a.m. at Carver Desire, 3301 Montegut Street, New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pastor James Willis, officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Rd, New Orleans, LA 70127.
