Aaron Thomas Butler
November 18th, 1993 – August 27th, 2025
Aaron Thomas Butler passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, after a long journey with health challenges, surrounded by the love of his family. Born to Leslie Hutson and Marc Butler, Aaron grew into a man known for his politeness, loyalty, and kind heart. He was deeply loved by his stepparents Robert Hogle and Annie Williams. He was a loving older brother to Anthony Butler, Marcus Butler, Jonathan Hutson, Mary Balderaz and a stepbrother to Alicen Everhart and Carter Hogle. He was also a cherished grandson of Bob and Nancy Butler, and Gary Guyton.
Aaron was proud to be a rock for his dad, walking beside him as a guide through his diabetes journey. He found joy in simple, meaningful moments—playing video games with his siblings, holding them as babies, and always being ready to help when needed. He liked to act tough, but those who knew him best saw the tender, kind soul beneath.
Faith was an anchor in Aaron’s life. He was a member of Rousculp Church of Christ. He loved attending church and said he was most proud of the day he was saved. His family takes comfort in knowing that his faith gave him peace.
Aaron’s biggest lesson, one he wanted to pass on, was simple but profound: take care of yourself.
His family is having a viewing on Tuesday, September 2, from 6-8pm at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home. Service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home. A lunch will follow at Rousculp Church of Christ. Youth Pastor Marty Rind will be officiating the service. Aaron’s good friend A.J. Myers will be in charge of the music selections.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
