Breaux Bridge- A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, July 1, 2023, 2:30 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Aaron Lavon Crain, 40, a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away on June 25, 2023, in Nashville, TN.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
Pastor Rob Burdeau will officiate the memorial service.
Interment will follow at a later date.
Born on August 2, 1982, Aaron lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and a deep love for his family. As we mourn his untimely departure, we also celebrate the cherished memories he leaves behind.
From an early age, Aaron exhibited a natural talent and passion for technology. He attended Breaux Bridge High School, where his curiosity for computer networking began to flourish. Eager to pursue his dreams further, Aaron continued his education at SLCC T.H. Harris. There, he honed his skills as a System/Network Engineer, paving the way for a successful career at Acadia Healthcare.
While Aaron's professional accomplishments were impressive, it was his warm-hearted nature that defined him as a person. He had an infectious zest for life and an unwavering free-spiritedness that touched everyone around him. Aaron had an extraordinary ability to find joy in even the simplest of moments.
Family was paramount to Aaron; he adored his dear nieces and nephews and always made time for them. Aaron's bond with his loved ones was unbreakable.
In his leisure time, you could often find Aaron engaged in activities that brought him happiness. A skilled pool player, he was part of many teams one being, "Who's Showing Up" team and found true camaraderie within these leagues. He also enjoyed bowling, playing his guitar, and playing his computer games.
Aaron Lavon Crain will forever be remembered for his love for life, his unyielding spirit, and his devotion to family and friends. Even as we grieve our loss, let us find comfort in the memories we created together.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Emma Goetting Crain; sister, Michaela Pisani (Jody); nieces and nephews, Torie Pisani (Jase), Kamryn Pisani, Gavin Pisani, Alex Breaux, Sarah Cormier and Brianna Cormier; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lavon and Nina Crain; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Louise Goetting.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Martin Animal Shelter (1004 Industrial Prk Rd, St Martinville, LA 70582) in Aaron's name.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
