Aaron E. Duke, 29, passed away on March 22, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Aaron was born on June 8, 1995, to Yevette (Swaney) McDonald and David Duke.
He graduated from Tell City High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Ivy Tech. He was currently working as a stock associate for Walmart.
Aaron married Kayla (Seifert) Duke on May 8, 2021. They met in 2010 and have been inseparable ever since, sharing an amazing 14 years together.
He was a founding member and the current treasurer of the Cool Kids Club, who enjoyed video games, comic books and his cats. Aaron was great with kids, especially his godchild Piper, whom he loved deeply.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Kayla Duke of Evansville; mom and stepdad, Yevette & Errol McDonald of Rockport; father, David Duke of Tell City; brother, Victor Vazquez of Evansville; grandparents, Verna & Harvey Duke and Carl Simpson all of Tell City.
A Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Troy City Cemetery at a later date.
Aaron was able to be an organ donor and give the gift of life.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rivers Edge Animal Shelter.
