Aaron Carter Freas

Aaron Carter Freas, 26, of West Lampeter Township, entered into rest unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 21, 2025, with his parents by his side. Born in Hershey, PA, he was the son of Albert E. Jr. and Janene Marie (Lewis) Freas.
Despite physical limitations, Aaron was fiercely dedicated to making an impact on the lives of those who were blessed to know him. He used his art to help raise funds for various pet charities and community organizations. He was a proud steward of a Little Free Library and enjoyed supporting other Little Free Libraries by donating books. His favorite thing to do, however, was to just meet people and to exchange a pin featuring one of his paintings for a handshake. He was, and still is, blessed with the ability to make anybody he meets feel important, appreciated, and a little bit happier. Aaron had a gentle power from within and a joy, despite difficult circumstances, which inspired those around him.
Aaron was an enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He loved attending baseball games and concerts, listening to music, planning and cultivating his butterfly gardens, and collecting autographs. Aaron loved going to auctions, especially those supporting good causes. His greatest adventure was his Make-A-Wish trip, where he was able to travel to New York City to meet and shadow NBC broadcast journalist, Katy Tur.
Aaron will be incredibly missed by his parents; his grandmother, Janice Lewis; his aunt, Karen (Freas) and her husband, Tom Davidson; cousin, Devin and his wife, Liz (Harrigan) Williams and their son, Nathan; cousin, Caitlin Williams; his Pop Pop and Nana, John and Linda Waggoner; his best friend, Hannah Welk, whose friendship was a blessing; and his dogs, Ally and Lucy. We know that Aaron is now surrounded by the love of his grandfather and grandmother, Albert and Janet Freas, and his uncle, Charles "Chip" Williams, until we see him again.
A celebration of Aaron's life will take place at a future date.
