Aaron Kosei Hudanish, age 42 of White House, Tennessee was born on June 18, 1982 in Monterey, California and passed away on March 26, 2025. He lived a life dedicated to his passions, making a significant impact in both his community and the lives of those who knew him.
Aaron was a distinguished figure in animal welfare, having served as the director of the Sumner County Humane Society for 16 years. His dedication to the well-being of animals continued as he took on a role at Paws and Claws for the past three years. Aaron's commitment was not just a profession but a testament to his true love for animals, particularly his cherished pugs, Mattie and Oliver, whom he regarded as his children.
A proud graduate of Hendersonville High School in 2000, Aaron showcased his talents on the baseball field. His enthusiasm for sports extended beyond the classroom, as he enjoyed participating in various athletic activities throughout his life.
He is survived by his parents, Scott and Tammy Hudanish, and Linda Dodd. Aaron's brothers, Tony Reyes (Rachel) and Zack Bond (Erica), as well as his niece, Michelle Reyes, will forever remember his laughter and spirit. His grandparents, Terry Fitzhugh (Nolan) and Joe Delk, provided him with steadfast support, along with his great-aunt and uncle, Akiyo and Sei Sugiyama. Aaron shared a deep bond with his longtime girlfriend, Tabitha Tidwell, who stood by him through thick and thin.
Aaron was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George and Masako Akamine, and his grandmother, Sue Delk. Their memories will continue to inspire and guide those he left behind.
The legacy of Aaron Kosei Hudanish will live on in the hearts of many as a symbol of compassion, loyalty, and unyielding love for both family and animals. He touched countless lives during his time and will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
