Aaron S. Sweigart, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Ephrata, PA, passed away on November 7, 2024.
Born November 21, 1925, at home in Ephrata Township. Aaron was the 10th child of 12 and the last surviving child of the late Stephen and Susan (Leid) Sweigart. He was married for 64 years to Mary Louise Wenger Sweigart prior to her passing in July 2010.
A loving father, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Rodgers of Salmon Arms, BC and Sonja (Sunny) Anderson of West Chester, PA; his son-in-law, Al Anderson; two grandchildren, Shawn Anderson of White Haven, PA and Todd Anderson of Pottstown, PA; and three great-grandchildren, Robert McCall, Griffin Anderson and Logan Anderson. In addition to his parents and wife, Aaron is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kimberly Monahan; his son-in-law, Ed Rodgers; and siblings Ada Musser, William Sweigart, Helen Musser, Ruth Miller, Norman Sweigart, Mamie Meckley, Susan Lausch, Grace Ziemer, Alvin Sweigart, Robert Sweigart and Clair Sweigart.
Aaron was a highly regarded electrical engineer for over 30 years with the Ford Motor Company.
Interment will take place in Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery, Ephrata. Services are private.
