Aaron Anthony Witkop

Aaron Witkop, a beacon of intelligence, creativity, and courage, left this world on March 25, 2025, at the age of 69, after a life well-lived and cherished. Born on June 25, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, Aaron's journey was one marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence and a boundless curiosity that propelled him forward.
Aaron's early years laid the foundation for a life of service and achievement. With pride and honor, he served in the United States Air Force, a testament to his courage and dedication to his country. After his military service, Aaron continued to contribute to his community through his work at Fairlane Tool, where he retired in 2021. His colleagues remember him as a man of great integrity and skill, a mentor to many who crossed his path.
His family was the cornerstone of his life. Aaron was a father to Robert, and Alicia. His sisters, Penelope and Alice, will recall his unwavering support and the joy he brought to family gatherings. Aaron's legacy is further enriched by the love he shared with his late wife, Laura, and the memories they created together. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eileen Witkop, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion along with his brothers David, Bob, Dennis and Leo who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.
Aaron's interests were as vast as his intellect. He was an avid hiker, relishing the tranquility and challenge of the great outdoors and mycology. His passion for computers and learning never waned; he was a lifelong learner, always eager to explore the latest technological advancements and expand his knowledge.
