Abelardo L. Albiol, 95, of Mountain Top, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
He was born in Panama, a son of the late Vicente Albiol and Maria Luisa Mas. Prior to his retirement, Abelardo was employed by Carter Footwear Company.
He was preceded in death by wife, Maria Elena Murgas, on Aug. 6, 2021, and by 11 brothers and sisters.
Abelardo is survived by his loving daughters, Sahyly Feisel and her husband, Peter Feisel, Summerville, S.C.; Rose Marie Doyle and her husband, Patrick Doyle, Yorktown, Va.; and Tamara Pegarella and her husband, the Rev. David Pegarella, Mountain Top; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Truly blessed to have had Abelardo as my father-in-law for 39 years. He was steady and consistent throughout, never interfering, but always encouraging. He raised three wonderful daughters. He will truly be missed.
