ABELARDO "LARRY" TATLONG MARIA SULIT

Abelardo "Larry" Sulit, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Born on January 3, 1943, in the Philippines, Larry was the eldest of eleven children of Alejandro and Lucia Sulit.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Annabelle and Larry Perdido, and grandchildren Cameran and her husband, Dylan Sylvest, Berkeley, and Keegan; his son, Michael Larry Sulit; his siblings Rodrigo, Danilo, Edgardo, Armando, Yolanda, Mercedes, and Myrna and their respective spouses; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 49 years, Nita Sulit, with whom he is now reunited in eternal rest; his parents; and his brothers Napoleon, Raymond, and Rolando.

Larry earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Mapúa Institute of Technology in the Philippines and a Master of Science in Chemistry from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. His career began in chemical engineering, but his entrepreneurial spirit soon led him to new ventures. Over the years, he established a specialty grocery store and restaurant, a wholesale distribution company focused on Philippine products, and later, pursued a successful career as a custom home builder.

His family takes comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his beloved wife, Nita.
