Abi was born October 21, 1986 in Douglasville, GA, the daughter of Randall Lawrence "Randy" Pointer and Alesia Camp Pointer. Abi was a nurturing person and chose a career where she could help others. She became a Registered Nurse and worked to give back to her community at Tanner Medical Center. Abi had a way of finding humor in things and making others laugh, she lit up every room she entered. She loved music, especially Elvis and George Jones. Abi enjoyed movies and comedy show date nights with her husband. She cherished every moment with her family and friends. However, her children and being their mom was the most important thing to her.
Abi is survived by her husband, Joseph Grady "Joe" Knight of Villa Rica, children, Aurora Pointer, Etta Knight, June Knight all of Villa Rica, father, Randy Pointer of Villa Rica, mother, Alesia Camp Pointer of Villa Rica, sisters and brothers-in-law, Farrin Pointer, Kim and Jason Britt, Beth and Scottie Head, Emily and Todd Brewster all of Villa Rica, grandfather, Lemuel Camp of Villa Rica, mother-in-law, Kay Knight of Villa Rica and several nieces and nephews.
Since Abi was a member of West Hills Church, the family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at West Hills Church, 159 Liberty Road, Villa Rica, Georgia.
Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 4:00 PM from West Hills Church. With Rev. Adam Ragsdale and Mr. Ray Conway officiating; and Ethan Presnal presenting the eulogy.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery with Keaton Britt, Blake Britt, Collin Ray, Carson Ray, Steve Lujan, Blake Ladd, and Matt Pointer (honorary) serving as pallbearers.
