Ada J. (Stiles) Keller, 78, of York, breathed her final earthly breath and entered into the eternal presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 15, 2022.
Ada was born in Glen Rock, PA, on February 2, 1943 to the late Norman N. and Mary E. (Sterner) Stiles. She is a 1961 graduate of Dallastown High School, and she worked in various factory and healthcare positions throughout her life.
Ada was the beloved wife of Paul S. Keller for 58 years, and her life was spent surrounded by and devoted to their family. In addition to praying daily for her family and being a Godly example in their lives, she held countless roles including caretaker, cheerleader, babysitter, preparer of family meals, and even milkshake maker. She treasured every moment spent with family, and the love and pride she had for them was evident to all who knew her. The legacy she leaves behind is that of God, family, and selfless service above all else.
Ada was a long-time attendee of For The Bride Ministries (formerly Cornerstone Community Church of Felton) and was ever-faithful in her service to God and her church, stepping in wherever there was a need, and dedicating countless hours in recent years to the church's clothing ministry. She also spent over 50 years volunteering with Pleasant Acres Nursing Home, especially working with the Sunday evening Gospel message and sing-along service.
In addition to her husband, Paul, Ada is survived by her three children, John Keller and wife Tammy (Buser) of York, Lori (Keller) Workman of Hellam, and Rebekah (Keller) Trautman and husband Timothy of Felton; 8 grandchildren, Amanda (Keller) Sipes, Dustin Keller, Dylan Keller and fiance Amanda Haugh, Nicholas Workman, Rachel Workman, Isabella Workman, Samara Trautman, and Brielle Trautman; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Savannah Sipes; siblings, Donald Stiles and wife Treva (Miller), Ruth (Stiles) Kline and husband Barry, W. Henry Stiles and wife Deborah (Dutton), and sister-in-law Deborah (Sterner) Stiles, as well as many other beloved family members.
In addition to her parents, Ada was also preceded in death by her brother Bernard Stiles and wife Helen (Russell).
A time of viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, January 24th, at For The Bride Ministries (109 Pond Road in Felton) beginning at 12:00 PM. A funeral service to honor her life will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brandon Testerman officiating. Interment will be held following the service at Canadochly Cemetery, with a time of food and fellowship to follow at the Canadochly Reformed Church social hall (behind the cemetery).
Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to For The Bride Ministries, The Military Order of the Purple Heart, or The
