Mrs. Ada Ellen Morris

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Ada Potter Morris, age 77 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Mrs. Morris was born in Athens, Georgia the daughter of the late Charlie T. and Mabel Segars Potter. Mrs. Morris was a Graduate of the University of Georgia and a retired Media Specialist with the Jefferson City School System. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris is preceded by a baby daughter, Donna Michelle Hogan.
Survivors include a son, Steve Hogan (Katie). Grandson, Bentlee Hogan. Granddaughter, Harlee Watson and a great grandchild Blair Bookout. Caregivers and brother in law and sister in law, Stanley and Janet Morris.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2024 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating with burial to follow in Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. prior to the service.
