Ada I. Simonsen, 81, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on September 29, 2024.
Born on July 25th,1943 to Florencio Sanchez and Inez Serrano – Sanchez in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Ada pursued a career with the Archdiocese of New York where she was an administrative assistant at Regis High School.
In her leisure time, she grew to become a lover of music, dance, and travel. Ada's favorite musician was Johnny Mathis, and wherever he was performing you could find Ada. Salsa dancing to Latin Music was a favorite activity as was traveling. Ada and her sister, Rosemary, traveled abroad extensively having many grand adventures together.
Ada will be lovingly remembered by her niece, Dawn Anderson-Brion; her cousins Irene Luna, Kathy Luna-Toval, Gloria Luna-Picou and Jesse Luna; and her half-brother, Miguel Angel Sanchez. Ada was predeceased by her parents, sisters Norma Anderson and Rosemary Greene, and cousin Anna Luna.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church on October 11, 2024, at 11:00AM in Boynton Beach, FL.
