Adam Clint Amosun, 33 of age, resident of Dover NH, passed away on July 22nd, 2023.
He was born on July 3rd, 1990, in Portsmouth NH to the parents of Tokumbo Amosun, of Nigeria, and his
recently departed mother, Elaine Williams Amosun.
Adam graduated from Dover High School in 2008 alongside his twin brother, Joshua Elliott
Amosun. Throughout his life he had the amazing ability to bring many people together from all walks of
life with his charismatic, energetic, warm-hearted laugh and smile. He enjoyed the company of those he
considered to be his family, which included his closest colleagues and friends. For those of you who
intimately knew Adam, you know that he was in his happy place if he was in the kitchen cooking, singing,
and dancing to prepare a meal for his loved ones to enjoy. Additionally, he loved playing card and board
games with his family. Adam's presence uplifted hearts and minds anywhere he went. His spirit was
infectious and filled any room he walked into; people enjoyed being around him. Adam was known for
being an "old soul" and a comedian.
Adam worked as a cook in many restaurants in the Seacoast area from a young age. Cartelli's
North End located in Dover, The Farm located in Dover, Ore'nells BBQ in Kittery Maine, and Massimo
located in Portsmouth and others. Adam had a passion and took pride in working on boats, ensuring
they were safe and ready to go for the season. He also had the opportunity to work in the construction
industry. One could say, Adam was a "jack of all trades", and he was extremely gifted and talented in
whatever he put his mind to. Throughout the past years, Adam fell in love with baking and made several
cakes for his closest friend's baby showers, weddings, and gatherings.
Adam was predeceased in death by his mother, Elaine Williams Amosun on July 12th, 2021.
Adam is survived by his older sister Rose-Jaimie Rice, her husband Stephen Long, and their children:
Arielle Gilliam, Christian Rice and Riley Long of Dover NH, Adam's nieces and nephews. He is also
survived by his twin brother, Joshua E. Amosun, his fiancé Erin Geekie and daughter, and his niece Ella R.
Amosun of Newmarket, NH. He also leaves behind his father, Tokumbo Amosun and brother Dipo
Amosun and sister Ronnie McCallum of Texas; as well as his other siblings, Linwood Allen and his child
Genesis Allen, Tammy Holland and her son Michael Holland, and Tookie Gregoire and his daughter, Chloe
Gregoire. Adam is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him tremendously.
Adam will be forever remembered for his outgoing, energetic, hard-working, caring and fun-loving
nature. His spirit and light will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Services: A visitation will be held on August 3rd, from 4pm to 7 pm at Tasker Funeral Home, in Dover NH
(open to the public).
