Mechanicville, Saratoga County
Adam Joseph Bedard, of Mechanicville passed away at his home peacefully, on Monday, January 10, 2022. He was 40.
Adam was born in Saratoga Springs, on September 7, 1981, son of Thomas R. Bedard, Sr. and Anita M. Wood (Robert H. Nichols, Sr.).
A family man and devoted father to his children, Adam put others before himself and was known to be an immensely giving man. Adam worked at Blue Sky Construction, in Schaghticoke. In his free time Adam enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially with his brother Tommy, and carrying on his grandfather's legacy by working in the family garden.
Survivors along with his parents and stepfather, include his children Joseph Beigler of Tennessee, Anna Bedard of Stillwater, Mason Bedard of Mechanicville, Emily Bedard of Mechanicville, and Lillian Bedard of Mechanicville. He is also survived by his siblings Robert Nichols JR. of Easton, William Nichols of Gansevoort, Thomas (Danielle) Bedard of Schaghticoke, Nicole (Kevin) Nichols-Keegan of Stillwater, as well as his grandmother Rita wood, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Adam is predeceased by his sister Renee Nichols.
The Bedard family would like to thank everyone for their loving care and support during this time.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 am – 10:30 am on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170. Funeral Mass will follow at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Peter's Church), at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery in Stillwater.
In Lieu of Flowers- Consider a donation to the Thomas Bedard Sr. Trust for Adam's children.
