Adam David Berhorst, 43, of Westphalia, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born January 6, 1981, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Roger Dale “Butch” Berhorst and Sharon “Kaye” (Ross) Stacy.

He was a 1999 graduate of Fatima High School, attended Nichols Career Center’s Construction/Building Trades program, and was a 2002 graduate of Linn State Technical College with a degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management.

On June 23, 2007, Adam married the love of his life, Susan Alison “Ali” Kaiser on the beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Adam had a love for work starting at a young age, whether it was farming, construction, or anything with his hands. Currently, Adam was the owner/operator of Complete Custom Homes, LLC where he and his crew made many clients’ dreams of owning a beautiful custom home come true.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia. Adam enjoyed spending time on his farm. He loved hunting and fishing, especially with his boys. He was a true family man that loved spending as much time with Ali and the boys as he could.

Survivors include his wife, Ali Berhorst, Westphalia; three sons, Chase, Sam, and Will; his mother, Kaye (Lynn) Stacy, Jefferson City; his father, Butch (Robin) Berhorst, Jefferson City; father and mother in-law, Bob and Susie Kaiser, Lake Ozark; step siblings, Katelyn Daugherty and her daughter Autumn; and Logan (Brooke) Daughtery and their daughter, Natalie; sister-in-law, Dru (Brett) Lindsey and their children, Grant, Nate, and Reese; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Kaye Berhorst (1996); paternal grandparents, Arthur and Evelyn Berhorst; and maternal grandparents, Sharon and Carol Borron, and Charley Ross.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia with the Rev. Dylan Schrader officiating.  The Mass will be live-streamed on the church's Facebook page.

Following Mass, family and friends are invited to attend a life celebration reception at the Westphalia Knights of Columbus. Those unable to attend the Mass are encouraged to attend the reception.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the “Account for the Berhorst Family” in care of Legends Bank.
