Adam Harold Giebel

Adam Harold Giebel, age 35, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born on February 8, 1986 to Scott and Christine (Duss) Giebel in Appleton. Adam was a graduate of Appleton East class of 2004. He started working in 2006 at Lakeside Book Group, formerly Banta, until his passing. On March 16, 1986 Adam was baptized as God's Child at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton. He was raised in faith and attended St. Paul Lutheran School and was a member of the Boy Pioneers.
Adam's true passion in life was playing World of Warcraft online with his many friends and every Saturday would play Dungeons and Dragons with his brothers, cousin Aaron and friends. He was a very creative writer, writing many campaigns for Dungeons and Dragons and short stories. Adam loved fast cars and spending time with his family camping. He enjoyed teasing and spending time with his nephew Remington.
Adam is survived by his parents; his brothers Alex (Rachelle) and Austin; his nephew Remington; his special adopted family Roger Jazdzewski and Sarah Meinerz; paternal grandmother Joyce Giebel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Gerald and LaVerne Duss; paternal grandfather Leo Giebel; and his uncle Butch Grotenhuis.
A Memorial Service for Adam will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at BRETTSCHNEIDER TRETTIN NICKEL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton with Pastor Kenneth Frey officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Adam would want you to celebrate his life and not mourn his passing. You will be missed and loved forever by your Mother, Father, and Brothers.
