Adam Grawe Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ingram Funeral Home - Marysville on Jul. 30, 2025.
Adam G. Grawe, 50, of Marysville, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, June 27, 2025, at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. One of three children, Adam was born May 11, 1975, in Columbus to Robert "Bob" V. and Carolyn R. (Gentry) Grawe Sr. A 1993 graduate of Northland High School, he thrived as an athlete on their swim team, and was a state qualifier in the butterfly stroke. He continued his swimming career at Eastern Michigan University before settling down in Marysville to raise his family, and accepted a job at Honda. Adam was one of the good guys, always steadfast and innately happy. He had a laid-back personality and great sense of humor that came with an infectious smile. An athlete at heart, he continued swimming through the years as well as golfing, and was a dedicated Cleveland Browns fan. Adam was also a man of strong faith, and he regularly attended The Gathering in Marysville along with most of his family. He enjoyed living in the country, which allowed his soft spot for animals to flourish, as he often took in and cared for animals that others did not want. Occasionally, he enjoyed collecting different things and learning new sets of skills, recently studying as much as he could about investing. And while Adam was naturally humble, the only thing he bragged about were his children, who were the absolute center of his life. He was incredibly proud of both Chase and Morgan, and nothing meant more to him than being there for them, and being their dad – he loved them with everything he had. He is survived by his son, Chase T. Grawe currently of Cincinnati, and his daughter, Morgan A. Grawe of Marysville; his parents Bob and Carolyn Grawe Sr. of Westerville; siblings Robert "Rob" (Pam) V. Grawe Jr. of Johnstown, and Ashleigh J. Grawe of Gahanna; nephews Kyle (Victoria Price) Grawe and Cameron Grawe; his beloved pets, Nala, Snowflake, Lil' Kitty, Lil' Dirk and Franklin; several extended family members and a host of dear friends.
