Adam Leonardo Castleton Guerra

Adam Leonardo Castleton Guerra, aged 31, passed quietly at his San Jose home on May 30th.
Born in Los Gatos, on May 26th 1994, Adam's colossal personality and infectious energy were evident from his very birth. He had a natural gift for gab and a unique ability to both connect to others and bring people together. No topic was too big or too deep for him to broach with friends and strangers alike.
Adam was a graduate of Del Mar High School, class of 2012. He cherished his years as a Del Mar wrestler, and was forever thankful to his teammates and coaches for the positive influences they had on him.
After high school, Adam served as an aircraft maintenance technician in the United States Air Force, and particularly enjoyed his time in Japan, during which he grew his love of anime, jiu jitsu, karaoke, and all things Japanese. He had a lifelong passion for gymnastics, and was a gifted and committed coach.
Adam fought a hard battle with mental health and substance abuse. However, throughout his struggles, he grew a beloved support community through the V.A. and A.A. that he truly valued.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Melissa and Joe Whitehead and Leo and Linda Guerra, his younger brother Porter and younger sisters, Pamela, Fabiola, and Natalie. He is also survived by his grandparents and a whole tribe of cousins, uncles, and aunts who have and will always love him wholeheartedly. He will be greatly missed!
