Adam Patrick Minich, 40, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 9:02 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on August 1, 1984, in La Porte, to Joseph P. and Mary K. (Zahrt) Minich.
Adam was paralyzed at a young age yet never complained or let that take away from his joy and positivity. He had the greatest smile, contagious laugh and positive attitude that lifted everyone around him. Adam loved sports and all things super hero related, especially superman. He was also an enthusiastic writer. Adam was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph (Deb) Minich and Mary K Minich; former step-mother, Peg (Jim) Greene; brothers, David (Angela) Minich and Jerry (Sandy) Grimm; sisters, Alyssa (Patrick) Seymour and Amanda (John) Thresh; nieces, Aria Minich, and Lyrics Thresh; nephews, Greyson and Lincoln Minich, Jackson Grimm, and Ethan Thresh.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be announced soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in his honor to Champ Camp, which he was a founding camper and experienced many years of cherished memories.
