Adam G. Muñoz Jr.
August 17,1946 - November 11, 2025
Adam G. Muñoz went home to our Lord on November 11, 2025, at the age of 79. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren and family.
Adam was born on Aug. 17, 1946, to Adan and Gomechinda Muñoz in Carlsbad, NM. He moved to Albuquerque in 1971 where he continued to raise his family and worked for Smith's Grocery for over 25 years. He loved to watch football, having a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys, and also enjoyed going to the casinos. Adam had the habit of calling everyone a "Junior", if you did something wrong, he would say " Oh no, you're a Junior".
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Gomechinda Muñoz, sister Paula Urquidez, brother Henry Muñoz, grandson Patrick "PJ" Muñoz and his son Timothy E. Muñoz.
Survivors are his loving wife Mary H. Muñoz; his three children: Jessica Muñoz-Garcia and husband Francisco; Adam P. Muñoz III and wife Vickie of Carlsbad; Kenneth "Kenny" Muñoz; sister Theresa Estrada of Carlsbad; daughter in-law Tabitha Muñoz; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are his grandchildren; Kenneth Muñoz II; Timothy S. Muñoz; Jesse Muñoz; Aric Muñoz; Elijah Muñoz; Roland Gurule III; his grandson Adan Muñoz; and son in-law Francisco Hernandez-Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers are his granddaughters Alysha Vasquez and Kimberly Duran; his brother in-law David Peña; and nephew Jaime Peña.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the following location:
Trujillo Family Chapel
110 Alvarado Dr SE
The Funeral Mass will take place the following day, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, with a brief viewing beginning at 8:00 AM, and Mass to start promptly at 9:00 AM:

Burial will follow:
