I am sorry to hear about Aunt Ads, we had not seen each other in a long time, but had some long conversations on the phone, talking about things from long ago, I will be thinking of you all in this very difficult time Lyn, Ricky, Karen Lee and Robin and your families.

So many loving memories with my Aunt Ads she treated me like one of her own so many summers. I still have all the letters she sent me from a child to grown up. Re reading them has always made me feel so loved. I was blessed to have both Aunt Ads and Uncle Fred in my life. I am so sorry for the loss you are feeling.Love you all!

My earliest memories of Aunt Ads place her in the bustling Colangelo household, located just around the corner from my family´s home. Ads and her younger sisters were about the age of my own sister. And so I thought of them all as additional big sisters rather than as aunts. The "aunts" were Ads´ older sisters, my mother being the eldest of eight. Even as a teen, Ads exhibited the gentle and caring manner that she maintained throughout her life. She surely had her moments -all of us do- but to me she was always an oasis of calm amidst the sometimes hectic comings and goings in the Colangelo household.
Carol and I send sincere condolences to cousins Lyn, Ricky, Karen and Robin and their families. Your Mom: Caring, creative, true to her faith and full of grace. A life well-lived.
