Adena Kerney

Adena Kerney (Meredith), age 44, of Evansville, IN, went to her heavenly home on October 20, 2025. Adena was born September 16, 1981, to Roger Dale Meredith and Angela Sue (Rothrock) Meredith.
Adena was sweet to everyone she ever met. She never met a stranger and wanted the best for everyone. She never had many things herself, but she'd do anything for anyone she could. She prayed heavily over everyone. She was a one-of-a-kind soul that we don't see enough of. She cared just to care, and it would be amazing to see more people like her. She will be missed greatly by everyone that knew her.
She attended school at Spottsville Elementary and graduated from Henderson County High School in 1999. Adena loved music and sang in her high school's choir.
Adena worked at Subway restaurant in Henderson and obtained a paralegal degree from Daymar College.
Adena is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert; her brother, Shawn Meredith; grandmother, Marlene Meredith; uncles, Raymond Henry Meredith, Clinton Meredith and Jack Lee Rothrock; aunts, Minnie Chaney, Cordia May Bugg and Patricia Craddock. She had many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her uncles, Robert Meredith and Kenneth Rothrock; and cousin, Greg Meredith.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Reed and Pastor Jack Arney officiating.
Burial will be at Albright Cemetery in Mackey, Indiana.
