Adleigh Rose Hambrick, the anxiously awaited for infant daughter of Alex Charles and Adrienne Leigh (Rhodus) Hambrick of Richmond, went to be with her heavenly father on June 20, 2025, at 10:05 P.M. She departed from Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
Survivors include: parents; paternal grandparents, Chuck Hambrick and Tammy Menke, and Angela and Todd Pencook, all of Richmond; maternal grandparents, Tara and Greg Rhodus of Parkville; paternal great-grandmother, Jeanie Adams of Richmond; and six uncles and aunts: Matt Tweedie, Adam Hambrick, Lane (Chris) Hallauer, Sydney (Austin) Trammell, Aubrey (Scott) Ziller, and Aaron (Tessa) Rhodus.
Adleigh Rose touched so many hearts without even knowing it; she was one of a kind. She changed our lives forever in so many ways. She taught us so much and we are blessed to be her parents and family. Adleigh will forever hold a special spot in our hearts; we now have a sweet angel to watch over us. You will continue to be a light in our lives and are loved by so many. Fly high baby girl and do your thing, as we know you will. In a field of roses, she is a wildflower.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
Visitation and memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., with services to follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Richmond Memory Gardens. To honor Adleigh's memory, the family kindly requests that those attending wear bright colors or something a little girl would love.
