Adrienne C. Williams transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the age of 71. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Adrienne graduated of L.B. Landry High School, Class of 1972, and she attended Loyola University. She began her career in cosmetology and data entry before discovering her true calling in the culinary arts, particularly as a pastry chef. Adrienne’s creativity and dedication flourished in the kitchens of Arnaud’s Restaurant and later at Cookie Boutique, where she spent nearly fifteen years perfecting her craft. Adrienne later relocated to Houston, Texas, where she continued to grow both personally and professionally. She pursued further education at the University of Houston, studying to become a dietitian, and worshipped faithfully at her beloved Church Without Walls. Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus J. “Tally” Williams Sr. Devoted mother of Thaddeus J. “Boo” Williams, Jr. and Jeffrey J. Williams. Daughter of the late Albert Holmes and Ora M. Cryer-Holmes. Granddaughter of the late Lillian Holmes. Sister of Sarone Sunraa, Gayle M. Cryer, Carl Cryer, Katherine A. Mann, Peggy C. (Jack) Granger and the late Rosetta Bryant. Aunt of the late Desi R. Draughn Jr. and Lamar Bryant, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends touched by her warmth and kindness. Special thanks to the staff at Wynhoven Community Care Center, as well as Cyntrella Brewer and Lyntrella Anderson, for their compassionate care. The family is also deeply grateful for the many prayers, kind words, and gestures of support during this time of bereavement.
