Agatha "Aggie" Paider, of Greenleaf, passed away surrounded by her family on October 6, 2022 at age 80. She loved her life, family and friends. She and Bob Paider were married for 56 years and raised two children while working side-by-side together farming. Aggie loved talking to people and created an instant connection with everyone she met. She was an excellent cook and baker, and was known for sharing her treats with family, friends, and even strangers, including the candy she and Bob made together. An avid photographer, Aggie loved taking pictures of everything, especially sunsets and her beloved Purple Martins, and then mailing (or texting!) those photos to make someone's day. She could tell a great joke and dance a mean polka. She felt so blessed and grateful for everything in her life, especially being able to watch her two grandchildren grow into amazing adults.
She is survived by her husband Robert; children: Ron (Lynn) Paider, Melinda (Tony) Steinke and her grandchildren: Jake and Sara Steinke; siblings: Mike Bruneau, Ann Bruneau and Cathy Seekins; in-laws: Mary Blohowiak and Richard Paider; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Mark Bruneau; in-laws: Betty (Milton) Schampers and Joe Blohowiak.
Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish- St. Mary Site in Greenleaf (2218 Day Street), on Friday, October 14, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
