Agatha Louise (Tootsie McKee) Roach passed away on July 8th at her home in Wellington. She was born in Berrysville, Ohio on December 9th, 1938. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated educator. She completed her master's degree in special education from Miami University and retired from Rowan County School District in 1995. She was a devout Christian and showed her love of Christ through her work as a leader in the Presbyterian Women's organization, her membership and volunteer work at Ezel Presbyterian Church, and her unfailing kindness to others. Agatha is survived by her husband of 69 years, William V. Roach, and her four children, Deborah G. (Michael C.) Stevens, Paul (Lynn) Roach, Rebecca Roach (Randy Barrette), and Nathan (Greta Popp) Roach. She also leaves behind her sisters, Wahnita Yinger and Ruth Davis grandchildren, Misty Holmes, Desarae (David) Holliman, Danny Lee Roach, William (Taylor) Roach-Barrette, Emma Roach-Barrette (Tyler Jones), David and Anna Roach, and great-grandchildren, Teegan Holliman and Bianca Roach. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mae McKee, sister Anna Everheart, brothers Clinton and Dale McKee, son, James Daniel Roach, and grandchildren James Roach and Sarah Turner. The family will hold a private ceremony at the family's convenience. Donations may be made in her name to the Morgan County School District at 155 University Drive, West Liberty, KY 41472.
