Agnes Imogene Skillern, 97, went with angels to meet Jesus on January 23, 2026, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born January 4, 1929, in Scipio, Oklahoma to Ella and Harper Medley. She attended Indianola High School. She was married to Frank Skillern for over 60 years before his death in 2008.

She was a faithful member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. She was a wonderful homemaker and minister's wife who served with Frank at Oklahoma City Will Rogers Field (OK), Collinsville (OK), Springdale First (AR), Enid First (OK), Bethany Williams Memorial (OK), Edmond First (OK), Texas City (TX), Canadian Hills (OK), Holdenville (OK), and Pennsylvania Ave (OK). She also worked at Sears for 40 years. She loved chocolate, playing board games, reading, going to grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by son, Paul Skillern; daughters, Janice Gilley and LaJuanna Skillern. Grandchildren; Aimee Cox and husband Sam, Kimberly King and husband Kevin, Christoper Skillern and wife Shannon, Brenna Clark and husband Jennings, Wes Gilley and wife Jennifer, and Matt Gilley and wife Jacqueline. Great-grandchildren; Wyatt, Kirbie, Kason, Kelce, Kylah, Laine, Peter, Hollis, Adler, Channing, Jeff and wife Amber, Hannah, Halie, Logan, Lucas, Jacob, Caitlyn, and Austin. Great-great-grandchildren; Sutton and Millie.

Service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 10:00 a.m. at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, 6789 NW 39TH Expressway, Bethany, OK. Graveside will be held at Bold Springs Cemetery, Milburn OK.
