Aiden Isaac Martin, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the age of 22. Aiden was born in Oklahoma City on June 25, 2002. He attended Blanchard and Norman Public Schools, the Moore Norman Technology Center (PLTW), and visited France and Switzerland with his high school French class in 2019, before graduating from Norman High School in 2021.
Aiden regularly volunteered for various causes including the Norman Central Pioneer Library, the Regional Foodbank, and other school activities. After high school, Aiden attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a current senior majoring in Electrical Engineering. As an OU student, Aiden was an active member of the Engineers E-Club and worked for the AME machine shop, the Department of Anthropology, and YES Oklahoma. Aiden was passionate about engineering, movies, martial arts, comics, gaming, and spending time with his friends playing Magic the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, creativity, larger-than-life personality, work ethic, and devotion to his friends and family.
Aiden is survived by his mother, Amy Lyons-Ketchum; father, Scott Ketchum; brother, Aren Lyons; stepbrother, Hunter Ketchum; grandparents, Bill and Sue Lyons, Terry Ketchum, and Velinda Halstead; great-grandmother, Mary Downey; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
