Mark Martin

Mark Martin, 64, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on August 30, 2025. He was born on October 11, 1960, in Woodward, Oklahoma, to Thurman and Rose Martin. Mark's strong work ethic showed early in life, delivering papers while attending school. He graduated from Moore High School in 1978. He briefly worked in the oilfield before starting at OG&E where he worked for more than 30 years. Over the course of his career, he served in many roles, including meter reader and lineman, before retiring in 2021 as District Supervisor. Mark was respected for his leadership, dedication, and the example he set for others. His greatest joys were his children, grandchildren, and wife, who were at the center of everything he did. Later in life, Mark married the love of his life, Leslie Bailey Martin, together they shared a home filled with love, faith, and family. Mark also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-team roping, golfing, fishing, and most of all, worship and fellowship at The House Church. He lived by a guiding principle he often shared: God, family, work-in that order. Those who knew Mark will remember his kindness, integrity, and unwavering faith. His legacy lives on in the lessons he taught and the love he shared. Mark is survived by his wife Leslie Bailey Martin; Sons, Jake Martin and wife Megan, Mavrick Martin; Grandchildren, Remi, Easton, and Blakely Martin; Brothers, Ben Martin, Terry Martin, and a host of other friends and family. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Rose Martin, and his sister, Lori Martin. Services for Mark will be on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at The House Church in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Visitation for Mark will be Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and the family will accept friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
