Aimee Marie (Fennell) Crew, 52 of Springfield Illinois, formerly Chillicothe Illinois, died on September 17, 2025 at her residence. Born in Peoria on November 24, 1972 to John and Peggy (Schlosser) Fennell. She married Dannie E Crew on July 5, 1994 in Lacon Illinois.

Aimee is survived by her daughters Catrina (William Dodds) Crew of Virginia Illinois, and Morgan (Aron Rogers) Crew of Chillicothe, father John (Diane) Fennell of Dunlap Illinois; brothers Jeff (Betsy) Fennell of Dunlap, Illinois, Josh Fennell of Sierra Vista, Arizona; grandchildren Solita Marie & Louis Walker; niece Linzee and nephews Joseph and Silas. She was also preceded in death by her mother Peggy Schlosser, and husband Dannie.

Aimee was a beloved mother, sister, daughter and friend. Her bright smile and authenticity were qualities hard forgotten. Aimee was an incredibly talented homemaker and cook. Creating beautiful fabric arts and watercolor painting were two of her most proficient talents. Aimee loved her family with her whole heart and soul, especially pouring out love for her grand-babies she loved so much. Her insights and motherly wisdom will be missed greatly. Animal lover, creative, and nurturer, Aimee's memory lives on in our hearts forever.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a memorial visitation held on October 12th, 1-3 pm at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Burial of ashes will be in the Camp Grove cemetery. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
