Al Burden of Taylor, MI passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Esther Burden. Cherished father of Cheryl Fonseca, Karen (William) Hatley, Carol (Robert) Proodian, and Jim (Connie) Burden. Loving grandfather of Jeremy (Laura), Beck, Joe (Lisa), Angela (Patrick), Brad (Liz), and Ali. Caring great-grandfather of Miles, Lauren, Stella, Cole, Elise, Morrison, Zachary Millie, Savannah, Payton, Addy, August, and Hattie. Adored uncle of Janet (Matt) Ferrante. Al was preceded in death by his parents and his many siblings. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation for Al will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at St. Constance Church located at 21555 Kinyon, Taylor, MI 48180. In State at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. A procession to Our Lady of Hope Cemetery will take place immediately following Mass with a chapel committal service, followed by Al's interment.
